Zero Config = No Risk, Big Reward

This week I had lunch with the founders of Nitrosphere to celebrate our recent update to the Nitrosphere website. We’re really happy with the look and feel of the site, but it occurred to me that something was missing from our message. Then, after a double-latte, it struck me – we’re not sharing our “Zero Config” message effectively.

Lately, in discussions with our new customers, including one of our newest customers in Europe, they rave about how easy it is to test-drive NitroAccelerator with zero configuration changes to their SQL Server database or their network. While it isn’t surprising to us that they experienced a dramatic improvement to SQL Server replication performance, we are delighted to hear their deep appreciation about the ease of the trial and implementation for a fast return on investment.

What does “Zero Config” mean?

How many times have you spent minutes installing software, then hours attempting to configure it to work in your environment? This can be especially true for network intensive software. In fact, if you do a search on “Zero Config” nearly 100 percent of the hits are related to network configuration and how Zero Config has not been fully realized yet.

NitroAccelerator interfaces with TCP/IP networks and SQL Server databases. Each are highly complex environments thus any wrong configuration or integration can result in lost data or degraded performance. Due to the architecture of NitroAccelerator, it fits cleanly alongside SQL Server and intercepts its network-bound traffic before it gets to the network. The key here is that it fits alongside, rather than in between, requiring zero configuration to the network or the database..

In fact, all you have to do to get NitroAccelerator in operation optimizing and encrypting your SQL Server transactions is to install it on the same server where your SQL Servers reside; restart SQL Server; and NitroAccelerator automatically starts doing it’s job. That is truly Zero Config. If something goes wrong, you can just stop NitroAccelerator and transactions continue. If your network traffic is not compressible, NitroAccelerator simply won’t compress it (automatically) – again Zero Config.

The net:

  • Zero Config to get NitroAccelerator running
  • Zero Config to turn it off
  • Zero risk to your data
  • 100% opportunity to improve your SQL Server performance and protect your transactional data
  • Who ever said there is no risk, no reward? Why not give it a try?

Dramatically accelerate and secure your end-to-end SQL Server network traffic for:
